China (Fujian )Technology & Projects Fair （abbreviated as FTPF）is held on June.18th to the 20th every year in Fuzhou, the coastal city of southeastern China. The theme for the fair is Project-Technology-Capital-Talent. The fair is aimed at providing a platform for direct communication of enterprises and investment institutions with colleges, universities, scientific research institutions and individual experts owning technological innovations so as to reach mutual interaction and promote the matchmaking and commercialization of technological innovations. At the fair, enterprises and investors will be able to find appropriate and profitable investment projects, business partners and channels of technological services. Meanwhile, colleges, universities, scientific research institutions and individual experts will be able to find their way to commercialize their technological innovations. FTPF is an ideal platform for exchanging information of industrial and technological development, seeking business opportunities,  realizing mutual benefit and double win, and commercializing technological innovations between colleges, universities, scientific research institutions, enterprises, individual investors and financial institutions.
The year 2003 saw the first FTPF with Fujian Provincial People’s Government as its sponsor. Up to now, altogether 3 FTPF have been successfully held. The convocation of FTPF has made remarkable achievements by successful matchmaking of more than 7,000 technological innovations with a total investment of USD12.5 billion. At present, 60% of those technological innovations projects matchmade have been put into production, or under construction, or finished construction preparation. The 3rd FTPF of 2005 brought together approximately 1,300 people from 628 colleges, universities, scientific research institutions all over the world, among which, nearly 500 experts are from overseas. And the fair also attracted  more than 5,000 enterprises and 60,000 visitors to participate.
The 4th FTPF of 2006 is to be held on June 18th -20th in Fuzhou. It is highlighted by State Administration of Foreign Experts of PRC and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council joining the fair as its new sponsors. The 4th FTPF is to lay stress on autonomous innovation, building up the economized society and recyclable economy, building new countryside and a strong province of developed maritime industry, tying the co-operation across the Taiwan Straits and further internationalization in accordance with the planning development goals put up by the National Technology Conference and the 11th Five-year Plan fo China. At present, the preparation work of the 4th FTPF is going in full swing. Up to now, the fair has already collected more than 7,000 technological innovations from over 100 universities and research institutions all over the world. Meanwhile, 316 technology difficulties and demands have been collected from over 300 enterprises and will be presented at the fair.

3、Technological demands of enterprises Presented by the Organizing Committee of FTPF
At present, 316 technological demands and difficulties from over 200 enterprises in Fujian province have been collected by the Organizing Committee of 4th FTPF. Colleges, universities, scientific research institutions and individual experts around the world are welcome to meet these technological demands and solve these technological difficulties. 4、Participating procedures
(1)Please fill out the annexed “The Form of Technological Innovation Collected for the 4th China(Fujian) Technology and Projects Fair”（each technological innovation to be contained in one form. To download this form, please log into our website http://fujian.caiep.org/events_en/）, and send it by E-mail to us: 87833950@163.com，or by fax : +86-591-87833900 on/before Apr. 30th,2006. If there are technological innovation samples or products available, please send to us the photos(each photo around 5-million-pixel size)of these samples or products together with the Form.
(2)On receipt of the information of the technological innovations, we shall set to introduce and demonstrate them to   enterprises and investment institutions in Fujian province well before the opening of the fair or during the session, so as to promote and realize the matchmaking between investors and technological innovations owners. We shall keep technological innovations owners informed of any development in matchmaking programs.
(3)For those overseas institutions or individual experts who are interested in coming to Fuzhou China to attend the 4th FTPF, please send us by E-mail his/her resume together with “The Technological innovation  Form of  the 4th China(Fujian) Technology and Projects Fair” to: 87833950@163.com. After checking information received and according to the matchmaking situation of his/her technological innovations, we shall invite some overseas experts to come to Fuzhou to attend the 4th FTPF.
5、Services provided by the Organizing Committee of the 4th FTPF as follows:
(1)We provide exhibition booths and posters free of charge for those technological innovations we select.
(2)We provide free international round-way traveling expenses and free meals, accommodation and transportation during the session of the fair to those overseas experts selected and invited to attend the fair by us.
(3)We provide free service of information publication through our channels for technological innovations collected from overseas institutions and individual experts.
(4)We assist in introducing and demonstrating to enterprises and investmnt institutions in Fujian province the technological innovations collected from oversea institutions and individual experts. We assist in inviting Chinese enterprises and investment institutions to participate in business talks on cooperation at the fair.
(5)We assist in arranging business investigations and provide related business contacts services.
